We were talking about Hootie at the Cajun Cafe Friday and my friend was a starter in 72. He said Hootie never knew his name and rarely talked to players. He said Dabo talks to players more in one day than Hootie did in a year.

Leslie was their big competitor in Greenville. But yeah, I recall Mr Henderson pretty much being the single most influential piece of the puzzle in creating the Paw.

One time i saw Hootie cover the REM album Document at the Zoo. he fought two students while playing a guitar solo, never missed a note. later that morning like 3amish, he beat us at spades with an icepak on his head. i used to have a polaroid picture to commemorate the event but it was lost when I moved to orlando.
