The school got a new 6 week old pet pig named Fern. All 17 lbs of her was going around introducing herself to the classes. Guess it makes since as they are the Razorbacks.

I hope Daniel doesn't follow suit.

I have noticed 4 distinct groups of kids at Wahalla HS. Let me start by saying the kids there are all great, well behaved, smart high schoolers.

That said, they easily break up into 4 groups:

1 - Rural Oconee farm kids & mid-income Wahalla folks
2 - Latinos
3 - Rich Lake Keowee kids from places like The Reserve, etc.
4 - A small smattering of African Americans.

All in all a pretty good HS. With a great view of the mountains.
