How do they rate Trump by comparison?***

a left leaning narrative and every bit as biased to the left as FOX is to the right. The traditional major networks, like NBC, CBS, and ABC lean decidedly left in almost every way, but their bias is not as overt as the ones just mentioned. While I think they do make some effort to at least appear neutral, they are not in the end; their message and presentation reflects a clear left bias. In print media, almost all major newspapers lean decidedly left - it's documented and undeniable.

FOX stands out because they are the only major right biased network, they are openly biased, and they have a huge following because there is no real competition on that side. 80-90% of all other relevant news outlets lean left. There is no FOX equivelent on the left in that sense because the left is split up amongst many, many outlets, outlets which vary in how open and overt they are with their bias.

So, while there may be no direct equivelent to FOX on the left, one which is both openly and unapologetically left biased AND has as huge and loyal of a following equal to FOX's, almost everybody that matters besides FOX leans left, and spins everything that way to one degree or another.

The leftist TV cable networks succeeded in discrediting themselves with hyperbolic leftist coverage. All but the most radical among the left leaning viewers abandoned those blatantly leftist cable outlets. Ergo, the collapse in leftist cable news networks, which (prior Fox to firing T.Carlson) had combined ratings less than those at Fox News.

The ‘middle Americans’ drifted back to the liberal slanted traditional ‘Big 3’ news. Many politically aware consumers have already moved to streaming channels for news.

The rise in conservative streaming networks has been assisted by FoxNews’ overbearing management, which has forbidden their on -air talent from openly expressing anti-vax sentiments or for providing news analysis that is favorable to Trump. Rupert Murdoch began hating Trump very shortly after the 2016 election … when the criticism of Trump had centered around the Russia Hoax was the ‘worst’ thing of which Trump was being accused at the time. The rift between Grump and Murdoch have been rumored to be around a favor that Murdoch had expected to be returned in exchange for FoxNews’ vigorous support of Trump’s 2016 campaign.

FoxNews has been anti-Trump since early 2017, although they remain anti-Democrat as always.

FoxNews is now in decline as their ‘pay to play’ ethics have been exposed. FoxNews base has split, with a growing portion of their historical audience going to streaming outlet NewsMax. The lefty cable news outlets continue to take on water. CNN briefly dared to break ranks and attempt to recover market share under Chris Licht’s management; when he attempted to drive CNN to reverting to a more centrist reporting regimen, CNN’s dozens of remaining viewers became outraged and Mr. Licht got fired.

The lesson here is that Americans have wisened up to news outlets that are so blatant in their reporting agendas that their news in effect becomes untruthful.

Lefty leaning news media screwed up their monopoly in the open market; their best market plan moving forward is to de platform news outlets that expose their dishonesty.
