How will the players respond to Dabo's answer to Tyler?

That is the question.

I imagine that Dabo will say very little, if anything at all, to the whole team.

But, I do imagine that the assistant coaches, during the position meetings, will have some fiery discussions with their individual groups of players.

Topics like:
1. Tyler wasn't just attacking Dabo, he was attacking you.
2. Tyler said you aren't good enough, and I'm not good enough, and Dabo never should have recruited you or hired me.
3. Dabo was fighting for you and your teammates. Are you willing to prove you're worth fighting for?
4. Tough times don't last, tough men do.
5. When you're walking through the storm, don't stop.

I think the team will respond because Dabo basically told them he had their backs and was not going to take any crap off anybody.

I think you are spot on with your expectations.

However, the motivation heading into a game hasn't seemed to affect Clemson's level of play yet this season with the exception of maybe the FSU game in which the team played pretty well except for a missed FG.

Because motivation doesn't seem to change Clemson's level of play and because the Irish are equally or more talented than Clemson, I'm not sure this rallying cry will do much to affect the outcome of the game this Saturday.
