On the left, we will start off with the demented octogenarian. Yeah, this guy. Quality contender here. Heck of a resume, from last century. He's got "experience" in Washington, the experience we all need.

But not enough of us voted for any of them to make a difference. Too busy living in the past. Some think Biden has DONE a good job, but many doubt his competency moving forward. Many think Trump DID a great job as president. But many of us also think he's losing it as well, in many ways, and has really gone off the rails.
We're only getting what we've asked for. No one to blame but ourselves (well, and the DNC for not offering the Dems any realistic choices). GOP had some great options, but nope - TRUMP! Why? Because.... TRUMP!

Or the winners of our primaries anyway. I didn't have a chance to vote against Trump in the 2020 GOP primary, as there was none. So that meant I was forced to vote for Trump, or a democrat. Dems this year, at least let RFK have a shot. And lord, he's a nutjob in his own right.
Where are quality leaders these days? Would you want Biden leading your HOA or church? Or Trump? Or RFK?

Who would want to run for office when they will be subjected to the left trotting out random crazy women to claim you raped them at some point in the very distant past. Doesn't matter if they can prove if you've even met. And that may not be as bad as the lefts changing laws or misapplying laws to retroactively make you a criminal. What successful person would sign up for any of that? Much better to run a Manchurian candidate from the shadows which is our current situation. So enjoy!

It's now a rigged system where the sane people cancel each other out and the whack job candidates can rise above them. We need to test ranked voting in the primaries, or eliminate them altogether.

That's the problem. Ever bought a car where the salesman said something you didn't want to hear? I make it a point when car shopping, when the salesman comes up and invariably starts talking up the car I'm looking at, I always ask him, "What, in your opinion, is the worst thing about this car"? Then I wait. Because I've studied up usually. I know all of the pros and the cons by the time I get serious. And I wait to see what he says. If it's something I've heard about, I'm more likely to buy it from him. If he says something stupid, he's likely lost his sale.

It's not about two individuals. It's about national identity and character. The choices are 180 degrees apart.
Here's what I am voting for:
Meritocracy vs. equity. People have to be rewarded according to the results they achieve, not what color their skin is or what they identify as. If you are for equity, you are a communist or worse.
Less gubment vs. more. 95% of us understand the gubment is in business because they are a monopoly. They do not have to provide a quality product or any product to stay in business and employ millions. If we were to put out an RFP for a new gubment, the current one would get very low marks for past performance. It's a bloated cancerous bureaucracy. The only way to minimize its ills is to shrink it.
Unity vs. division. The left is the party of division and grievance and will forever be. They cannot win on issues so they stoke division and make peoples phones tell them the other side is to blame for all their woes, many of which are made up. A rising tide lifts all boats. The left would rather keep the black community poor and living in crime rather than lift them up and out of dependence. I'm voting for the side that will enable people to use their individual responsibility and motivation to take them where they want to go.
Sanity vs. insanity. The left is 180 degrees away from logic and common sense as it relates to climate and women's rights. Attempting to 'rip the band aid off' and eliminate fossil fuels so quickly is irresponsible and stupid. It can't be done and won't be done, so don't waste a trillion dollars trying. Not only that, if the USA created ZERO emissions, nothing changes with respect to the planet being at risk using the left's own data. Trans women have no right to displace women in women's sports. If you believe they do, you are gullible, weak, and have no common sense.
The choices are clear.

You don't support any of that stuff, and neither does Trump.
Meritocracy? Trump and his family are about cronyism, but they also did nothing in this area for the American people when he was president.
Less gubment? You don't want that. You have advocated for the federal government imprisoning people with different views than you and overreaching into the private sector to police their political views. You supported DeSantis doing this. You support tariffs. You want MORE gubment so long as you think it pushes your world view. Trump doesn't support less government, either.
Unity? In what ####### universe did Trump unify America? He called anyone who opposed him an enemy to this nation, and you did as well.
Sanity? Yeah, sure, that stuff you listed by the left is whacky, but the right wing supporting Trump wants equal insanity. Civil war? Women jailed for abortions? A theocracy? Warming up to historical enemy dictators and shattering alliances?
There's nothing sane or unifying or good for America with Trump. Nor with Biden.
