Hyatt, Huggins and Cain at the Army AA game....

Jan 3, 2015, 11:53 PM

Just finished watching the Army AA game....

Hyatt- Totally impressive, Completely solid. Good hands and feet movement and quick to the point of attack. Didn't get beat and once he locked up on his man the battle was over. We got a great one here and won't be surprised at all if he is starting at some point in 2015.

Huggins- Completely Unimpressive. They had him playing DT which is a position he hasn't played much and won't play at Clemson(at least to begin his career anyway)and that is probably why he didn't look all that great. Didn't move the pocket much at all and got flat out dominated and thrown to the ground on at least seven different plays. Didn't beat his man one on one once. Really slow at the point of attack and doesn't appear to have elite upper body strength. Don't know what this means because he gets solid reviews as a DE

Cain- WOW!!! This kid is going to be a pure monster. Great burst from the line of scrimmage, really fluid motion and catches with his hand like Sammy. For as little as he has played wide receiver it's amazing how naturally the position comes to him. Will be a major threat from the wild cat. Won't be surprised in the least once he starts playing WR full time if he leaves Clemson as the best receiver we have ever had come through the program.

will be a 4* bust? I didn't watch any of the AA game, just wondering. He is shown on our board as DE/DT.

Yea, he will be a BUST...

Busting through all of the opposing OL's we play and making tackles in the backfield.. Go ahead and add to him to the list of great DE/DL to come through CU. Gonna be a stud!!

Unlike other that can't take anything negative on recruits/player . I will agree with Huggins. He is a DE not big and physical enough to play DT and it showed in the game. I really see him starting and finishing his carer at SDE at clemson.

Higgins is a DE that played DT in the game yesterday. He is better suited to play DE at this point and yes it showed in the game. I didn't see his performance in the game as a DT, as some are doing. Instead I was looking for the things that would make him a great DE instead of DT. He has good quickness and agility for a guy his size. He showed yesterday that he has the ability to take away the edge, even from his DT spot yesterday. Sure he didn't show the strength needed to be a force at DT yesterday. He isn't a DT, he's a DE. The strength will come, but he already has the assets to be a good DE.

Huggins was doubled teamed all game. The other team must have known he could dominate one on one march ups . He will fine for us.
