Biggest question - will Clemson have the guts to fire Dabo?

He is clearly the most successful coach we’ve ever had. He has changed Clemson. But because of his stubborn refusal to adapt, we’ve now lost 3 out of the 4 last games and are out of the CFP before this season has really even started. How much benefit of a doubt does Clemson give him? If we continue to suck at this level we won’t get extra money.
How much longer is on his contract?
One thing we no longer have to worry about is momma calling.

he's knocked down to 1-2 mil a year salary, Clemson tuition drops to around $15k/year, and every Tom Winkopp structure in town is immediately leveled, with Tom being publicly tarred and feathered.
I'm not ok with a perpetuity agreement at the current pay scale and rate of university change based in large part on the popularity of the football program.

But it's certainly increased demand and Clemson uses that to fabricate their exuberant tuition so admin can get nicer vacation homes and luxury autos.

Plus, I doubt we can afford it. I've said it for a few years now, but the loss to LSU in the Natty was the start of the decline to a 6-6 team. It's a long painful slide and we're on it.
Prediction - Dabo will not win another ACC Championship before he leaves/fired.

I mean we're in the ACC, so there's that...so essentially he has ONE job all year he has to get right.
And after 3....4..... or FIVE times in a row...that would have been enough most places.

Michigan State for an example of how difficult it can be to sustain high level success building your team through the portal. FSU is trying like crazy to build up high school recruiting for the same reason.
