First off, let me say, WHAT A WIN BY OUR TIGERS! I had to leave shortly after the start of the 3rd quarter and head to work. The whole drive going to work I was anxious thinking we were going to be blown out. Soon as I got in, we scored our final TD and won. I was equally stunned that I missed the excitement though. Regardless, it is as always, a great day to be a Tiger.
Now onto my other point. Been seeing tons of post on various social media sites about the Cotton Bowl. So many people of various fandoms, even including Suckeye fans, kept yapping about how the Cotton Bowl is a meaningless bowl game, etc. I for one am astonished that College Football has reached this point. Where people think one of the biggest and most historic bowl games is now irrelevant and meaningless. Saddening really. But my Buckeye coworker went from loudly angry to silent angry very quickly during that game. I was waiting for my coot coworker and I to catch his wrath. Regardless, it's always nice to see Ohio State lose.

fans think their team is Numero Uno in the land and aren't selected for the playoffs.
Yet, I'd be willing to bet most of those fans are ecstatic over a "meaningless" bowl victory. Yesterday, there was a sea of Clemson fans in that stadium, all of whom paid a lot of money to travel and attend. Most of the rest of us, who were committed elsewhere, watched or listened. And all of us were standing and cheering when Mafah crossed that goal line on the final drive. We cheered again with Lewis' interception that ended the game. Was it meaningless: HELLLLLL NO...not unless you're some morbid, irrational yingyang with your asssss sitting atop your shoulders! lol
There is a simple fact people have to grasp: each year, every year, THERE WILL BE CROWNED ONE AND ONLY ONE KING...PERIOD, END OF DISCUSSION.

People forget about the extra practice for newbies, but they also forget about all the swag players get. They typically get 2 full clothing outfits, they get watches, headphones, video games, food, cash, rings, and other stuff from sponsors. Along with the other they usually get a free $dollar amount shopping spree, plus, plus.
But if they don't go for the swag or the team, then screw them. Tired of this new opt-out era. Stipulations for NIL will come soon or people will quit donating.
