Someone asked about the stadium being flat.
The fans and band are being drowned out by the sound system...why cheer when the volume is so loud? When the band comes out before the game the volume is so loud that when they do start playing it sounds like a 1A HS band.
It's actually quite obnoxious. At one point, the bell is chiming and music playing over the top of it. It was just noise...I think it takes away from the fan experience rather than improving it.
Students are more worried about the being shown dancing on the jumbo screen than the game.
Then, how may dang 3 min 30 sec TV timeouts can they have during a game?
And how many different promotions can be had during the TV TOs in the WEZ?

I've noticed that too. Has too much of an NFL game feel with the sound system bumping like that.

if they want to critique that product, good on 'em.
My take is the Dabotron is really loud. Hurts my ears and Im on the lower bowl 50. Cant imagine what it's like on the Hill.
More than ever before, Im acutely aware that the DV fan experience is no longer geared for me.

With the money we sank into the video board you would expect a lot less audio distortion. It seems to take about the first ten minutes of the game to get the sound system adjusted. When they called out the names of the Tiger Band seniors it sounded like the teacher from Charlie Brown.

I would rather hear the band play more often. I like a few of the piped in riffs but they play a lot of stuff that sounds like a crime is about to be committed. People will kill me for this but the endless streaming of recognizing people during time outs gets old. There are so many it makes them routine and not so special. We don’t have recognize everybody and everything all the time.
