But let's get real - there isn't a place that would appreciate dabo more than clemson

Heck he could move down to PeeWee football and he'd have more than 1.5% of parents complaining to him

When Dano leaves, be it tonight, tomorrow, January or in 15 years, a lot of Clemson fans are going to learn a really harsh lesson. The rest of the college football world has little to no respect for lil ol Clemson.

Dan Lanning isn't walking into that locker room.

You guys are nuts if you think he's leaving Oregon for anything other than a steeped in blue blood, football power.

If Dabo survives this, the only way it doesn't fall off a cliff when he leaves is if he finds a successor to promote.

I don't say that bc I think there is no one better than Dabo. However, there is currently no one better than Dabo that is willing to do it at Clemson.

A lot of you are going to get hit with that reality when the time comes.

You are right

Clemson & Dabo are the perfect fit

And the same thing goes for him - I think a little more appreciation on both sides could go a long way right now

No other school is going to give him the 50 ft leash he has here

- 3 year experiment ignoring the portal? Nope

- try to hire a complete offensive staff of inexperienced ex-players? Pass

- infuse a faith based approach into the day to day operations of a football program? I think we know how that will go down just about anywhere else
