Hmmmmm? A fast-paced uptempo offensive seemed to be very effective. Who wooda thunk that?

This has probably been one of the more frustrating parts of our offense to me this season. It has seemed to me that every time Cade is forced to play quick (couple steps drop back, look downfield 15+ yards, and slings it out of his hand quick) our offense has had great success. I would argue some of our easiest/most successful drives have come on numerous 2 minute drills just before half or end of game.
All of this makes sense because as many have noted on here, Cade does seem to struggle just like DJU did - he struggles with quick decisions and getting the ball out of his hand (which is compounded by a bad O-Line)
That’s all for my rant, just leaves me wondering why up tempo is not a regular part of our offense when we clearly succeed with tempo.

Part of the success of a 2 minute offense is the defense and I’ve never really gotten why DC’s go into prevent nearly every stinking time

Seems like for Klubnik and the offense that when you think long you play wrong. Just sayin.

Clemson didn't win CFP games being a slow run team

they were high tempo explosive offense throwing lasers and making turnovers on defense
i mean SH1P for Heisman. 3 runs for 9 yards per drive 3 and outs are the way to go! post Covid play calling has been a gem. did i do that right?

where's Clemsons Eng Management think tank Lean Six Sigma this operation
and just stop with the Run Offense identity . it's not Clemson. It wasn't like this until Spiller came back . even TE knew the role of the running game in a high tempo explosive plays legendary QBs offense .

Spiller and Grisham literally brought back Rob Spence and Billy Napier offense . It shows on the scoreboard and everything

“In hindsight we should have run more”. Streeter was no different. Neither had any clue how to effectively use the run on a consistent basis.

The game winning drive was the most fun to watch in a long time. Yes I was nervous and waiting for Clemson to turn it over. I was wrong because Clemson found a way to win. The Tiger offense put together an unbelievable drive that left the Kentucky defense gassed. That drive and the 52 yard field goal will have me smiling until the kickoff with the Dawgs. I have decided to enjoy the win and let the coaches do their jobs to make the team better.
For those of you traveling home from Jacksonville, please be safe. If you are attending the Jaguars game tomorrow, please yell loud for me. From a Clemson standpoint, I am going to rally behind Brad and the basketball team to make the dance. Go Tigers and an early Happy New Year.

The last drive reminded me of the Danny Ford “heart attack kids” games. Definitely not for the faint of heart. 🤪

When all the bowls are finished, this could be the best game of them all. Clemson scoring 28 points in the 4th was impressive

Distract you from the fact that in 2023, Phil Mafah scored four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Clemson Tigers in the 2023 Gator Bowl versus the Kentucky Wildcats, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, Bubba "Spare Tire" Dixon.
Sincerely,
Al Bundy

Clemson QBs.
I’ll catch a lot of cr3p for this position, but I’m anticipating a HUGE year for this CLASS-ACT of a young man.

We spend to much time thinking on offense. Call a play. Run the play. We're not outsmarting anybody.

Cade has good arm talent and is plenty athletic, but he has has struggled to grow in mental processing. It’s really the glaring difference between Cade compared to Watson and Lawrence. Just reading options slowly, reacting slowly to open receivers, and leaving the pocket late when pressured (which causes him to scramble backwards and makes passes off of scrambles nearly impossible). Missed a pretty easy TD to Briningstool towards the end of the 4th quarter because he couldn’t process quickly enough to throw the pass on time. Hoping things will click mentally for him next year.
