Actually I just called him and he said probably trout. Halibut is out of peak season

Lake Russell, right? I can tell the water is almost full pond and Hartwell is almost 7 feet down.

Been fishing the Tugaloo State Park area for schooling action and we haven’t seen any either. Nice fish, this is my favorite time of the year to hit the lakes.

I caught them shallow on secondary points and DEEP on brush piles..biggest

fish I caught was about 3 lb. crappie on a half ounce warpig!! Bridge column.....that thing was loaded...If the bass were there...they bit...just didn't have enough time to find any big ones..
