Just got "official" word that I got the promo at work I've been hoping for. Gonna be moving out to the Denver area as soon as I can sell my house here (which is another fun tale of losing my assery but that's another thread for another time).
Anyone ever lived out thur? Gonna be odd, b/c I've lived in SC or NC my whole life, but we're pretty excited---living in Colorado has been on my bucket list for a long time.
Anyways, forgive the coolstorybro.jpg but we share when times is bad, and we share when times is good, and it's pretty good today.

I lived in Boulder for a couple years as a kid. Can't thank my parents enough for getting me on skis at age 5 (even though I broke my leg at Eldora the same year). For having only been there a short while, it had a huge impact on our lives and we have many fond memories.

We couldn't afford to buy our house back at this point.
Traffic can be an issue depending on your office location but most everything is forgotten once you sit at your desk and get a view of the mountains and sunsets.

It is a great city. But the best for me was being able to snowboard at some of the best resorts at any given time. Truly. Awesome.
