all you have to do is say Ellington, McDowell, and Gallman

and it simply comes to mind

that this offense is made for a slasher like Feaster.

Kid should break Gallman's single season record twice before he leaves

if we can give him half an O-Line.

Question is

does Feast Mode have Ellington's instincts for the hole,

Gallman's patience and determination,

or Hot Rod's perseverance and suddenness?

true I do feel those Bowden- esque not enogh depth or talent are behind us on the OL. Pretty much every young guy they they have gotten in has been solid. Just a matter of finding the right combinations. And developing an under center package for critical short yardage situations

I get what you're saying, but

it's those short yardage situations

that we were inconsistent on in the last two years that have me worried.

We've been good in pass pro but the drop off in rushing yardage last year was huge.

Part of that may have been Opponent's defensive schemes, but the short yardage inconsistency was real.

We haven't been consistent with that since Tajh was our go to guy on 3rd/4th and < 2.

We've got too much wide-out talent to simply try to lay the wood to people all game,

but with the QB situation, we are going to need a good-to-great running game this year

to be Top 10-15.

Feaster is the guy who could make that transition for us go better than just alright.

But we've still got to have a good-to-great OL in run blocking to make it really work.
