Vegas had Bama over is in 2018. They set the spread to get even money on each team, not to pick the winner

If UGA would've been favored to win the CFP that means Vegas models think Georgia was better than all 4 of these teams. It really is that simple.

I thought Michigan looked very solid overall. They just had a horrible special teams game and only reason Alabama was in it.

Agreed, & UGA did not qualify cuz they lost to Bama who lost to Texas. Uga may be best team when healthy, but injuries are part of FB

Well, I do have to agree with you on one thing. Bama was a weak Bama team. Didn't have the Defense, oline, or QB players they usually do. Saban starting a freshman left tackle just doesn't happen.

Wins and losses matter. But I agree Georgia is better than Alabama (but then again so is Auburn).

Right. At some point in any playoff system, it becomes win or go home. Sometimes the lower seed wins. GA lost to Bama. You’re out.

They lost the critical game. Remember, body of work(FSU) doesn’t count in the decision for the best team. 😉
BTW, on most days Georgia looked unbeatable.

You mean like against USuC (by 10), Auburn (by 7), Vandy ( by 17), Missouri (by 9), GT (by 8), lost to Bama (by 3). That’s almost half their schedule. Looks like they had their struggles as well to sone very bad teams.
