How highly rated was cortez davis?

Didn't follow recruiting back then. Was he a 150 guy? 4-star and 80 grade I know, but wondering how he ranked that year.

quick google shows rivals 215 national ranking.
I thought the kid would be a stud by now due to size/speed/talent. hopefully he puts it all together and shows out over the next few years.

A stud by now? He's only played in one full season. He still has 3 years to help out the defense and continue to improve.

Only, maybe 4 or 5 guys in that class of 27 has really developed into what we thought we were getting.
1. Sammy
2. Crawford
3. Deshawn Williams
4. Grady Jarrett
5. Adam Humphries
and you could add Ryan Norton.
The 2 Anthony's are getting close.

Would still like to see more from Crawford.
He looks like a physical freak but hasn't produced a whole lot. I expect him to be big for us in the next couple of years.

but feel that any momemnt he could break out and be a stud on the field! I feel there are a lot of players that are similar on the roster that have yet to show their capabilities whether it be they were overrated, or not yet had an opportunity to shine.

are currently playing in front of him that have been here longer...Breeland and Robinson were both 4 star DB's, believe or not. I'm pretty sure just about all of our secondary were up echelon guys...
rashard hall, jenkins, and robert smith were all 3 star guys. But robinson, breeland, peters, blanks, meeks, brewer were all 4 star recruits. I think brewer and maybe robinson were 3 stars on scout but i'm not positive onthat. I even think cortez davis was a 3 star on scout but 4 on rivals.

... they'd never played together before. Let's wait and see what the coaching change brings. They certainly didn't look any worse the grad assts. at the CF Bowl.
