I have had some issues since then, but I can't say it is for sure from the Rona. I was in the hospital for over a week with the Rona and I had lung issues. Now I have some heart issues. AFIB. I cant say if its from Rona. I can say that since Rona I have had issues I have never had before. Spleen...Afib...stomach pains. There is probably a bunch of shyatt going on, but I can't conclude where it definitely started.

Same here….never had

acid reflux at all. Never. Now I am headed to freaking get a tube and a wire stuck down my throat tomorrow to test me cause my chest feels like I am having a heart attack on a daily basis.
Never have been on any pills in my entire life. Been on two for about a year and that is when I got COVID.

I never had acid reflux until mid-40s, then the first time it was bad like that, cardiac sphincter in spasm. Felt like somebody standing on my chest. A course of Prilosec helped a lot. It’s been 12 years or so and never that bad since.

almost exclusively on the death rate. The odds are in your favor, true, but that dice roll with COVID could come up snake eyes and BOOM...long-term, potentially permanent damage.

Messed with his brain too, forgets a lot more now.

And in older people, covid impacts their brains. I've seen it a lot in my work. Spouse dies from covid. I talk to the surviving spouse who invariably got it too. They (if over 55-60ish or so) invariably forget simple things like kids names, birthdays, anniversary date, their address, phone number, just a lot of short term memory and cognitive decline.
Personally, I think the cognitive impacts of covid are not really understood, but may long term be the biggest problem with it.
Don't see the same mental issues with younger spouses and others who recover. But it happens a lot more in older people. Brain fog, whatever you want to call it, is real, especially in older people who recover.

vax gave me

tinnitus. 2nd shot
Either that or it happened at the same exact time. It does seem to be a side effect so I'm guessing it was the vax.
covid, i don't think my smell is fully there. I can smell, but if dog takes a crap in the house, i can't smell it while others can.

Smell is the only thing lingering for me. Tomorrow makes exactly 1 year since I got Covid. I still can’t smell a skunk fart in a sewage plant. Other than that I feel great.

Here’s a new one I have not heard. I friend of mine had Covid a couple months ago. He feels fine but it’s left him deaf in one ear. Anybody heard of that??

camp. I didn't discover chostochondritis until earlier this week, but that sounds like what I'm dealing with.
I have a follow up w/ the cardiologists in April, but the gauntlet of tests I went through showed no issues with heart or arteries.

all 3 of them had covid within the past few months, and they all ended up in the ER with severe chestpains thinking they were having heart attacks. Healthy 40 somethings, cardio on all of them came back clean.

Double your daily intake of Zinc, D and C for two weeks. I only lost my taste and smell for 48 hours but I immediately increased those vitamin intakes. I also would drink 4 oz of tonic water daily for the two weeks for the quinine but you can make natural quinine from grapefruit and lemon rind.

Wife had it right after Christmas and said it wasn’t too bad for her. However, she’s still dealing with persistent cough ( has had CT to rule out PE), no energy, and loss of smell. Doctor said it will just take time…she is not a patient person.

Had the delta delta delta Nov 2020. No long term effects
Feb 16, 2022, 12:10 PM
|

Did have compromised lung function from the pneumonia for a few months but as far as I can tell no long term impact. Lost smell, that came back. As far as brain fog, work has been rough this past year mentally with concentration but I think that is mainly because I hate my job.
Had my three jabs as well since and plugging away fine. Side benefit from vax has been substantial increase in manhood size. But I think that is probably from me losing a good bit of weight at the same time over the past year and so the optics have improved.

Nobody will convince me that it's unrelated.
Effects from actual Covid? Not that I can tell.
