Bresee and Murphy were shells of themselves last year, especially against ND. While Tyler Davis still looks mostly beat up he has help on both sides of him and behind him with some motivated dudes.

Glad we are strong on defense - that is a Clemson hallmark. Wes has impressed me and he is improving the product on the field.

After losing two top 5 LBs to draft. Losing XT to draft likely and out of schollie, plus losing Davis and Ruke to draft along with a safety and CB. Not to mention these are all BV guys. While we will have a few BV guys left that era is ending.
We are going to be short handed on LBs and DEs and our current recruiting isn't going to cover our needs. You would think we would possibly take a DE and LB with experience from the Portal, but not holding my breath.

Great job by Wes and our defense. Thank goodness we saw a different offensive line than last year too. Still hard to believe we had no penalties.

If Hartman had not had those two lucky runs for 68 yds we would have had more total yds than ND.

I think Godwin has done a great job as DC. No one is a BV but Godwin I think is a great DC and will continue to get better

I think Goodwin is coaching a lot better and that translates to the players playing better.

They have been more consistent than Offense and Special Teams and kept an average year from being far worse.
