With 2 of those losses coming to teams that were unranked at the time. To make matters worse, one loss was to a Group of 5 team, and two losses were by double digits, which is considered a “blow out” by most experts. On top of that, we currently have a lower wining percentage today than we did exactly one year ago, despite this being our best team in a decade or more. There have been some highlights, but there have also been some embarrassments. CBB has been caught several times this season using extremely vulgar language on national TV, and we’ve attempted to run up the score on lesser teams like Queens, Radford and Winthrop. Programs that are just trying to field competitive teams without the benefit of over $100,000,000.00 in completed and budgeted facility upgrades. It was fitting that Dabo was at the game and had a black eye, because some of the basketball antics mentioned above have been a black eye on this university.
I point all this out to say, I love all things Clemson and still consider myself a CBB defender, but it feels like the pressure has built up so much around this season that we are not conducting ourselves the way we normally would. I’d like to see Brad, and this team, start having fun again, like they did before they were given so many financial advantages by our ADs. Here’s to CBB getting it turned around.

Miami was a final four team last year and UNC just has more talent. I'm not panicking just yet.

It’s a really confusing argument that some make. “Brad is doing a great job and we have a really good team, but we shouldn’t have expected to have any hope vs UNC.” Can’t have it both ways.
When Dabo made the title game in 2015 he was the 25th highest paid coach. Brownell is right outside the top 25 in highest salaries. Sick of excuses. So many teams that prioritize football have made the final four. I like this team a lot, but still don’t believe Brownell is the guy or even A guy.

And we lost today because UNC played really good defense but that used to be what CBB teams were known for, correct? Coaching is supposed to gameplan around that.
Then Wed we lost to Miami because they shot so good, but isn't CBB known for good defense? Defensive coaches should be able to gameplan to slow good shooting.
Every time we have a loss its a different excuse from the CBB groupies. Never to we hear what CBB can do better. At least the Dabo sunshine pumpers still call out bad coaching, ask for change and expect wins. The CBB groupies act like fans shouldn't ask for better and accept a loss to Miami because they were Final 4, loss to UNC because they are ranked 8th, and its ok to lose to Memphis because they made the NCAA and had good teams in the past.
I am a Clemson fan, I pull for the bball team, all Clemson teams, but dont make excuses as to why we lose. But will point out coaching deficiencies no matter which sports team has issues at Clemson.
I hope CBB get this team back on the horse because we are close to losing an opportunity for a spectacular season.

Whoops! That was supposed to be CBB Groupies, not Goonies, but I think I like the Latter better.
Seriously though, are the Groupies only fans because of CBB, do they even like Clemson sports? If they are Clemson basketball fans first, how do they never criticize CBB coaching at times?

MO money MO problems!
I’ll admit after dominating the queen before Christmas break, I was 2 wondering if we had peaked at the wrong time. I am worried that the fanbase may have begun turning on brad, I could only hear one guy cheering during the whole broadcast today,

I must admit it's a bit concerning when you drop back to back games, conference games no less, in which Vegas thought that you would win. Raises questions in your mind about player development. I'm not saying this is necessarily an issue, but one can't help but wonder.

Brad's teams tail off and his teams get worse as the season progresses.
We're not good, and never have been under him. When will people finally understand that the best predictor of future performance is past history?
Support mediocre, or move on. Just stop acting surprised.
