🤣🤣 that's what most will say when they read my post....I'm just asking for a logical explanation. Even if it's "we weren't really paying attention to story placement on the front page" I'd accept that.

The baseball article is the second featured article. First basketball with a picture second is baseball with a picture.
Other articles are dispersed above below and in between.
I agree with you. It looks weird on mobile because it places the article below less significant articles, but it’s just how they’re spaced out with the featured/pictures.

yep, the spacing's a little weird on mobile. It puts the first featured story, then several chronological stories, then another featured story, and so on. So they aren't necessarily listed in order of importance.

Very disappointing so far.
