There is no length Swofford will not go to to sway the outcome.

Now that Swofford is out, why would he have any clout or care?

This is exactly what makes him so powerful. Not only do you not suspect him, he is also removed from the official position whereby culpability would demand accountability.

It’s a classic example of double jeopardy.

No doubt in my mind that he would continue to work behind the scenes to be sure the Heels are taken care of.

Call it a conspiracy or whatever but it does not change my mind in looking back on his past actions in getting us in this mess and adding time to our probation. He could careless about Clemson and I’m sure still carries a lot of clout with the ACC brass.

Doubt there will be a jury. Question of law for the judge to decide, not a factual question for a jury.

ACC will spend a lot of time and $ trying to get this away from Pickens and to NC. But it won't have the argument it filed first, like it does with FSU, so that is helpful

The capital offenses for which the conference is being tried entitle it to a jury of its peers, which means a body of collegiate conference representatives. The only power 5 representatives considered to be peers will be PAC12 and BigXII, and lowered nose they don’t have much goin on these days. B1G and SEC aren’t peers at all any more, but those lower-brow, westerly wastelands are desperate for cash and would be easily corrupted in legal proceedings.

So, you want our fate decided by reps from Oregon State and Washington State,

since those are the only remaining members of the PAC-12 at this time? I kind of siriusly doubt if those two institutions will look kindly on someone trying to get out of a conference.
