ACC in the rankings: 5 teams in the top 13 of the nation


5 Virginia
8 Notre Dame
10 Duke
11 North Carolina
13. Wake Forest
22 Clemson
25 NC State
34 Florida State
46 Virginia Tech
65 Miami
73 Georgia Tech
Boston College


we still have to play all 5 teams that are ranked higher than us

One would think Miami and FlaSt would have the two preeminent tennis teams in the conference and two of the best in the country.

but Miami has been down for several years now. Their coach really does not hit the recruiting trail hard and they end up with mediocre latin american players.

FSU thinks they are elite, they keep scheduling these big non-conference matches on espn3 but they are not at that level.

Winston-Salem and play at Wakes facility a couple times a week. They got a new coach that brought in some transfers this year that really improved them. Also, it was a joy watching them take down USCjr a couple weeks ago.

Wow! Go ACC! One of the only things that disappoints me about 'Murica is that we aren't nearly as globally competitive in tennis as we should be. In sheer numbers, that is. Bryan bros getting old.
