The first advice. . . ok sure that is true, but it doesn't matter if you pick the numbers or if a computer picks the numbers.

There is a bias of individuals to pick numbers under 31...

...and numbers 1-12, because so many people pick birth months and years. The point of sale pick eliminates that bias.

sometimes I even forget to check the numbers and I'll find a ticket and be like . . . oh yeah I forgot I bought this.
I think the odds of me buying lottery tickets increase as my job satisfaction decreases.

hit. granted, you, your kids and your grandkids might be long gone at that time, but it WILL hit.
but if you play random numbers, there's no guarantee there.
