South Carolina will beat NC State this weekend.
Reasons:
1. South Carolina does have (but not to the level of Clemson) talent at the WR position. 2. NC State is replacing all 4 starters in the secondary, who combine for 1 start between them.
This is the match-up that wins the game for me, and I don't trust NC State's offense.
I sure hope I'm proven wrong!
Side note: Clemson will beat South Carolina this year, and for the next 4+ (Signed - TL)!

And that is what NC St has. Also, NC St has talent at the skill positions. Nyheim Hines is one of the most dynamic players in the entire ACC.

This is the reason I an close to predicting a coot win. UNC and NCST are notorious for losing games like this

And since it's the first game I'd have to (or should I say "get to") bet against the dirtpecker if I were a gamblin' man.
I'd never put money on a mustychump getting a 7-56 team ready for a real team that soon.

Fair enough reasons but it will be hard for little Jake Bentley to throw to open receivers when he is laying on his back. Unless the coot offensive line has improved by leaps and bounds, the NC State Defensive line is going to be in his grill all game long.
If NC State plays with the same physicality and intensity against USuC as they did against us last year, this one won't even be close - NC State wins comfortably.

other than skai moore the USuCK defense, well sucks. Yes, they do have some pretty good wide receivers, but their offensive line, well sucks at USuCk. Mrs. Bentley will not have the time to throw. It will be closer than I would like to see it but NC State wins.
If they lose, their HC needs to go.

I don't know, i'm inclined to think that if NCState is one of the teams on our radar as a possible loss, then the coots are in for a beatdown! Lol!

SCAR has a penchant for blowing their first game and NC State's D line is nasty (as is SCAR's in a not good way). I expect NC State to win by at least 10 and Jake may need a doctor before it's over.

Stuff I'm reading says NCSU is returning 8 senior starters on D. Lost 1 CB & 2 DB's. Also returning 8 starters on O. Lost Mayes (RB), 1 from OL & 1 WR. I take NCSU all day long.
Coach Muffcramp better be giving that backup QB plenty of 1st team reps, cuz Bradley Chubb is gonna ragdoll Bentley.

Well, NCSU will beat the Cluckers...I have been around a long time, and can remember back in the late 60's or early 70's the Cluckers looked like they would beat the Pack. But I think one of the Buckey brothers, threw a pass to the other Buckey brother with no time left in Willie B and beat them...I think that the Cluckers cheated the last play of the game, which is not unusual for them to cheat back then, and gave the Pack one more play and they scored on a long pass. And I am eternally grateful to Dave and Don Buckey from that point forward

NC State always seems to take half a season to start playing decently.
I expect a somewhat poorly played game by both teams with the slightly less incompetent team winning or a bad call making the difference.
Later in the season, the team that loses will look at this as a game they should have won like UNC/USC in 2015 and NC State/ECU last year.
