The school "technically" does not pay NIL. It's supporters, co-operatives, etc.

If a player receives $25,000 to promote Joe's Pizza House in Auburn, then transfers to Miami, how do you propose to hold the University of Miami liable for compensation? To whom is compensation due? Auburn or Joe's?

responsibilities. It isn't a signed check delivered upon closing the negotiations. Prob more like a paycheck which ceases if the player justifiably gets kicked off the team or leaves without cause.
