playoffs. He mentioned potential roadblocks and I feel he forgot one; Miami. Miami is a motivated team and has improved. They have a good coach and have recruited the Portal and landed some better than average talent. Do I fear them, yes! I fear every team we play until the outcome is decided. Why? I know on any given day, anybody can lose. We saw it happen with Syracuse and Pitt. Let's hope we get through this season unscathed and make it back for the seventh time.

early but then will drop an unexpected game. Will Miami continue throughout the year as a motivated team? They did seem to look pretty different this past weekend. FSU every year is expected to be on the brink of "back" and then they lose to Jacksonville St or something.

New Miami coach is legit. He will build up the Canes, but not in Year 1.

It will be interesting to see the level of discipline Miami exhibits. Without a consistently high level of discipline, they won't get very far. Another thing to look for is how they respond to a loss, should that happen.

Miami at Texas A&M will not be easy, regardless. Good for them, if they win that one. Even if they do, I think an "any given Sunday" loss for Miami is likely before they come to Death Valley.
