Im shocked people are still paying for Iptay! You can get tickets on the secondary market for about 60% of the price after figuring in seat licenses and all that crap. I mean let’s be honest, they aren’t coming to Clemson because “there’s something in those hills”. 5 stars are coming to get paid

I give to IPTAY to support Clemson Athletics. I purchase my football season tickets because I want to support Clemson football. I know that I can save money by not donating to IPTAY. If everyone had your attitude, Clemson would not be able to field any athletic teams.

Clemson would not be able to field a team without IPTAY? Have you visited the campus lately? New buildings everywhere with more starting every day, luxury dorms for students and the endowment is at an all time high. Why would I want to give my hard earned money so they can pay a position coach $500K per year and provide a ship to a player who is little more than a Democrat shill?

I couldn't disagree more. I happily give to IPTAY like I have for many years because I believe it benefits my school, my heart if you will. Your comment about 60% on the secondary market is off. It's more like 500% with games that matter. Players make a decision to attend based on many reasons, all beyond my influence. They don't know that "there's something in these hills" until they're out. Which I 100% agree with. Go Tigers!

You're right about Clemson.
Getting players on-site has been our recruiting secret weapon for years. It works more often than anywhere else, it seems. It's special.
That won't matter to everyone, but it will absolutely matter to some, including many with elite-level talent.

NIL has absolutely nothing to do with a school and surely you are smart enough to understand that probably 90% of all players will earn no money.

I received some scholarship money while at Clemson.

I know my scholarship was not cut because of the money I made. Technically, I was making money on NIL by playing music. I would say I made around $100 a week.

NIL has nothing to do with scholarships from the school

NIL isn't paid for by schools. It is not a part of the relationship between the athlete and university.

NIL does not affect scholarship numbers or their value in any way. It takes no money from the university.
