Yikesā¦ I know a lot of us want to use the portal and there is some quality towards the top but how in the world is he still so highly regarded, heās probably the biggest bust Iāve ever seen. He couldnāt even get on the field for a historically atrocious USC defense. He did us a favor flipping on us, I can only imagine the vitriol that many would have had and blamed Clemson for destroying a 5 star. Not bummed we missed on Addison, he was a bust at tennesse, would have loved to get the kid from Shorter or MTSU though.

there are some success stories with portal guys, but the joe burrow type examples are very few and far between, it may happen again but once every 5-10 years.
FSU had some very good portal guys that made a difference, but people automatically delete the majority of transfers that even if good players ultimately make no difference Sam Hartman a good example.
Having said all that i agree Foreman is a bust, i dont expect him to finish the year with his new team

I mean portal guys that go too draft pick yea but there are a lot of guys that have come in from portal and been big contributors to the team. Jordan Addison for so cal, Jamyest Williams alabama, Uga had a few. Keon Coleman FSU all play makers and A lot more i not naming. Not saying foreman is the guy but we can go get one or 2 guys and not hurt recruiting. Go Tigers!!

Even Burrow was 23 years old before he had any real success. Would he have even stayed at LSU if NIL had been thrown at him like it is today?

WADR, his development progression could have been much different than at USC due to an atmosphere of discipline and accountability

Just donāt understand how, with all the fact, information we have and 3 year sample size that he is still considered a top 50 (42 to be exact) player via the portalā¦ and since he is, should tell everyone the quality of depth the portal hasā¦. Not much

Might have something to with the guys who rated him a 5* out of HS are also rating the portal guys and they do want to admit their original ratings were way off

Some portal players can make a difference. Alot just want money or can't cracked the lineup so they transfer hoping for playing time. I would only consider guys from smaller schools that are looking to move up after they prove themselves as long as they aren't head cases and fit in

He is a huge bust at this point. But with our D end situation do we take a flyer if he is not looking for a payout.
I am really surprised that he has not been productive at this level base on his film and the way he was destroying linemen at camps.
Goes to show that drills in camp are not game day football.
