you give them credit for being a good football team, and their just due for beating us. Act like you have class, for the past 100 years they have had to deal with what we are dealing with now. They just give us crap because we let them know it gets to us. If you just give a little credit to the dirtpeckers, then they usually stop clucking.....just saying

Any time I try to "give a little credit" to most SCar fans, they read that as an invitation to get even bolder and nastier. Out of ALL the SCar fans I know, only two of them don't take every opportunity to be a d0uchebag about their current win streak. And the more I try to be gracious about it, the more aggressive they get. Screw that crap.

I sit next to a coot at work and my first suggestion would be to not call them a coot. its not a friendly word.
We both love our teams but its no reason to hate one another. This may seem soft but i don't care cause i have to see this person 5 days a week and its just not worth living like that.

Tell him to stop bothering you and get busy pumping that gas. Hell, I should not have to tell you how to handle your employees.

Depends. Did he/she graduate from SC?

If not, anytime some idiot says something to me about "my gamecocks" I ask them:
Are you on the team? Did you play football at SC? Did you graduate from SC?
If not, exactly how are they your gamecocks?
If they answer yes to the graduate question I tell them I am sorry for them.

We are a liberal school/program. Our tent is big and wide and we welome EVERYONE; so, we refer to OUR favorite team an OUR Gamecocks. Yes, it does sound trite, but it's been doing the job for the past 3-4 years.

Go to night school.
Step Two: Graduate from high school
Step Three: You've just elevated yourself above the working standards of most coots.

You don't. You just walk up to them every morning and kick them in the nuts. Then sit down with your cup of coffee and asks him if there is anything you can do to not help him.
