I skip over the Bible quotes on that website. I do my Bible study long before I click on any website other than this:

If I want a comment on what I'm reading to show me things I may not see in the scripture itself I open the commentary at the bottom of that chapter and read Henry Matthew who I esteem to be extremely good. I might read several other commentaries to supplement that but those times are few and far between.

if the scripture bothers you that website is still perfect for someone who wants a taste of news and very few commercial advertisements cropping up. A man can ignore the proselytizing.

Thank you for this additional information. I will check it out. Oh, and the scripture doesn't bother me at all- au contraire. I was just pointing out that some would not view a scripture oriented interpretation of the news as being unbiased.

that which the typical Christian would do. TPO news is without bias in any form as far as I can tell.
In this day when even public funded radio has a political lean the TPO stands along. If there's spin in the reporting let me know and I'll apologize for being too dumb to spot it.

The scripture is presented by TPO following a news story. The few I've read simply point to Christ being our salvation, not world news.

with my wife out in the real world. She will make a literal day of it, go in twenty stores, and come home with maybe five items. Now, I am glad that she doesn't just spend money indiscriminately, but there are much better uses of my time than that, like typing and reading posts on Tigernet, or virtual shopping on the Amazon!
