Football and basketball are good examples of being able to see what people who don't have the ball are doing. That's if the camerawork is right. The camera guys sometimes want to shoot too narrow of a field sometimes.

The better view of any game is high up in mid court or stands. TV's ok for the most part with football and basketball.

I don't either, unless I have a rooting interest. I don't know all the in's and out's of the game, and it all looks like random chaos to me (I'm sure it isn't). But if you are really pulling for a team it's exciting, and fun to watch.
