dribbler make MINIMAL contact with the defender,AND THE DRIBBLER THROWS HIS HEAD BACK IN A WHIPLASH motion....it should be a technical foul....to me, it is just like the bogus flop....

the jump ball....I mean, the jump ball was one of the most intense moments of a tight game....I will never forget Kevin Joyce ( 6'3"} out jumping Lee Dedmond (6'11") to beat the Heels in the last second....

if the officials were consistent in calling those ticky-tack fouls, and errored toward letting them play, they'd probably stop doing it.

The problem I have always had with the “let them play” crowd is one guy mauling another guy is only letting one guy play the way he wants to play but it prevents the other guy getting mauled from playing the way he wants to play. Same argument in football: letting a DB grab a receiver’s jersey to keep him from running away open and then letting that same DB put a full arm bar on the receiver keeps the receiver from playing the way he wants to play by running past the guy and getting open and being given both of his arms to make a catch.

and can back him down without have to strain, the defender just has to step out of the way and give him the layup. On one play last night, EDDY was backing into the defender so hard, that the defender just stepped out of the way and EDDY tripped and fell......FOUL ON THE DEFENDER.

I'd like to see a point-of-emphasis made on carrying the ball to enforce proper dribbling.

that are NOT in the movies, but on basketball courts. I think it started with soccer, where if a player gets touched about the head, suddenly they are flying around, and pretending to be decapitated. If someone REALLY gave one of them a JBL "Clothesline from H.ell" for doing that stuff, it might just change their attitude, and their altitude.

Some of the leagues have started awarding yellow cards for flopping. It has slowed it way down.
