sweatter is a verb, 'I,' am the subject and gat is the DO.

I can't exactly remember past subject and verb but I reckon gat is a direct object of the action taken by the subject.
Can an English major chime in and grade me? I'll be happy with a 'C,' cause that's about the best I could do with 7th grade English and Ms Pascal who put me to sleep starting at 5 after 8am and allowed the bell to wake me at 10 til 9.

I accidentally TD that lady who posted about her mother having cancer or some other horrible issue. I was too ashamed to admit it. With a poor memory of details and even more poor with handles and names I can't otherwise excuse myself for having forgotten what ladytiger got my only TD.
All my tds except that were for fans of other teams who waltzed onto Tnet and won favor with flattering words of praise. I couldn't handle a coot, tarhole or dookie fan have a 100% pulse with some of our most faithful having less.
