percentage ever end up starting somewhere. It’s a very low percentage that actually end up helping themselves. They transfer in hopes of starting, but rarely does that happen. Then they’re on the same boat they just left.

It’s the right thing to do to make them sit out a year, and that will push some of these kids from making rash decisions.

I'm not surprised, because a roomful of sports' media junkalists wouldn't have the collective brain power of a gnat, much less the wherewithal and guts to pursue the story!

Of the thousands who have entered the portal, how many have found new homes, and what has happened to the remainder? Of those finding homes what has been their success rate? How many have jump-shipped again, some more than twice? How many have regretted the initial transfer?

The answers to these questions IMO would likely result in strong condemnation for the new rules, which were to me one of the most stupid actions by the NCAA ever committed, done at the time to make the game more "student-athlete friendly" in the NCAA's own words.
