I was born after the whole UGA/Clemson rivalry in the 80s. So I've never taken UGA fans seriously. When you UGA fans, here's looking at you supermutt, come to stir the pot on Clemson's board I can't help but chuckle. Who are you? What makes you even think you're in the same realm as Clemson right now. CLEMSON is the defending National Champions. You can't even win your weak, weak division.

You come waving a commit or prospect in our face and expect us to wither? Have you SEEN our recruits? Better yet, have you seen what we've been able to do with those recruits? UGA gets its share of recruits, but skips on the things that matter...development and subsequently championships.

Kirby won't be y'alls answer...so allow me to thank you ahead of time for giving Clemson a clear path to talented prospects in UGA.

I actually lived during the old UGA/CLEMSON rivalry and had the pleasure of attending the UGA-CLEMSON game at CLEMSON when Walker played. A co-worker that was a big UGA fan wanted me to go with him to that game, so I went. Herschel was supposed to dominate CLEMSON, so the UGA fan was all jacked up. Late in the game when Herschel fumbled to seal the victory for CLEMSON, the UGA fan got very quiet. In fact, he did not say another word all the way back to the car. When we got to the car, I had a sheepish grin on my face I guess, so he threw his program across the car at me. I just laughed. It was a quiet ride home.

I still remember his bumper stickers - "Go Walker my Dawg" and "Go you Silver Britches".

I got him pretty good when I managed to read the newspaper one morning, and it said Vince Dooley was going to hand out dog-bone decals for their helmets whenever they made a good play. I told my UGA fan co-worker that I thought it would be a good idea if Dooley would hand out dog-bone decals when they made good plays, and I was going to contact Dooley and give him the idea. The Dawg fan said that was the stupidest idea he had ever heard of, and Dooley would laugh at my idea. I then showed him the newspaper article and told him that I sent that idea to Dooley weeks ago, and he had thanked me for it. The Dawg fan was livid. LOL - Dawg fans - you gotta love 'em.
