We have a very young offense that’s only gotten better week after week. This team is “ok” right now, but will be lights out next season if we can keep a few pieces from making the NFL jump. Clemson needs Shipley, Collins, Wiggins, and Mukuba back. It would be a Miracle to get Trotter and Carter back. If that whole group comes back I feel like we’re an absolute lock to return to the playoff next season.

I moved on to next season after week 1. It’s IMPOSSIBLE to be the king of the mountain every single year until the end of time.

I woke up this morning and I honestly don't think we are going to win but 6 games total. Syracuse and N.C. State are toss up and no way do we beat Miami, N.D. UNC or USC unless our head coach gets his head out from between his legs and stops talking about more National Championships when you might not even win your state championship.

Agree they played better than I expected but some things have not changed. Many of which have already been discussed so I’ll just leave it at that.

I agree. We outplayed FSU yesterday. Led the whole way and played with passion. Didn't get the W, but I liked what I saw out of the team yesterday. Just gotta learn how to finish. We'll be fine.

Me as well. Great game and a few missed plays was the only difference. Shipley and Mafah played with a log of physicality and Cade is light years ahead of game 1. Brown coming on as a go to receiver is something we really needed to happen and having Williams for this game would have definitely been an added bonus for Klubnik. TE showed up for this game and not nearly as many screens thrown. I felt the coaches had not opened much of the playbook in the first 3 games.
We have missed on a few recruits and I feel we still can play with most teams.
Defense only allowed 22 yds on the ground and we beat them in every category minus the one that matters. Same with the Duke game. My only concern is the OL. That is the difference in my mind with having a good team and a team that can play with anyone. That as of right now is lacking. If you want to hear a bunch of whining and moaning skip this post because I was super proud of the effort and feel it’s only going to get better. #4 team knows they were fortunate to get that win yesterday. I give FSU credit they made plays when they needed to but with their experienced roster you knew that coming in.

doesn’t do much good but yeah I’m pretty happy with the team and their improvement

shame we had a spring and summer though and couldn’t field a kicker that can put one through the uprights

too bad the season is basically over because this is not a bad football team
