Does it make a difference? This rule was only created to reduce the number of players being run off. We seem to be devaluing commitment and scholarships more and more each day. Sadly the NCAA is making it impossible for coaches to be loyal to their players and compete.

In 2018, the NCAA passed Uniform Rules regulating rolled up jerseys and pants. The players snubbed their noses at these rules and many play in virtual shorts today without penalty. The NCAA has become a totally worthless organization and needs to go away.

wondered for a while while the players' uniforms seem to be shrinking.

I always thought the longer pants were designed to help protect knees, but you're right, it looks like they're wearing shorts. Saw a player Saturday with looked like shorts and a halter-type top, exposing midriff, causing me to think what the heck is he trying to prove? lol
