what it took to get us out of the ACC. The $$$ disparity going forward is going to render us non-competitive in the future "facilities race" in three to five years if we are still in the ACC. It has to. It's like the old Senator Everett Dirksen from the Tar Hole state said years ago, "A few million here, a few million there, and before you know it, you're talking about a lot of money!"

76er you make a point, but if not too nitpicky, I would offer that Senator Dirksen was from Illinois not NC. He had a clever wit about him and was well respected. I still remember him...and I was not a history major. Got your point though.

SWORN Dirkie was from NC.
I just looked it up, I got him crossed up with Jesse Helms, who was Senator from NC for 30 years.
Of course, SC had both Fritz Hollings and Strom Thurmond, who was already in the Senate during the Civil War. (I'm joking, but not by much!)

A 2 minute break after the clock hits zero so the teams can greet and opposing team can get off the field if they desire.
Start the 2 minute clock on the ginormous scoreboard..have some fun with the countdown and then left folks on the field.
I know people think ‘nothing has happened, therefore nothing will happen…..but an emotional night game win and an opposing player having a bad day or a drunk fan or whatever…I cringe when I see players having to weave through masses of people.
We’ve been fortunate to not have an incident already.
