It’s a one point loss, after being up 14 from a spot in a 7th playoff.

Our loss would look really bad but that mitigates the issue a ton.

They have always said conference championships matter a lot.

They haven't shown it since the first year when it was convenient for them. OSU, Alabama, and Notre Dame have all gotten in after losing or not making a conference championship. It is just what fits their narrative best.

If its and buts were candy and nuts we'd be going to the playoffs. However since we lost to two teams we are more talented than we will be in some random bowl somewhere and let's not even pretend like there's not a decent chance we get boat raced tonight.
