- Thurs mid-day: pick up buddy from airport, get lunch beers
- Thurs PM: daycare pick-up, cook lamb, farewell seggs
- Thurs late night: road trippin
- Fri AM: deer hunt
- Fri PM: deer hunt
- Fri late PM: crimmas party
- Sat AM: duck hunt (reelfoot lake)
- Sat mid-day: golf tourney
- Sat PM (maybe): deer hunt
- Sun AM: deer hunt
- Sun PM: drive home and seggs
West Tennessee is where it's at.
I've never had a weekend, or stretch of days ever, where I've needed golf clubs, shot guns, and rifles in the same slot. Only thing missing would be hitting some billfish on the Stream, but that's just getting greedy.

One of very few or maybe the only one around the region or something like that. IIRC it was formed during an earthquake that reversed the MS river.

This MF sounds like a modern day FastChad
The lake's name comes from a legend about a 19th-century Chickasaw Indian chief who was called Reelfoot because he had a deformed foot. His defiance of the Great Spirit by stealing a bride from a neighbouring tribe supposedly caused the earthquake that formed the lake.

something about drinking miller lites, cooking sausage egg and cheese biscuits, blasting birds, workign w/ the dog...it's awesome.
I have a duck blind about 250 yds from my front door, managed by TWRA, so I get a lot of mid-week hunts w/ me and the dog.
unfortunately, and probably more obviously, we aren't in the fly way but the lake holds a surprising amount woodies and mallards, and we get some good teal flying through in the early season.
If the wind's right, it's easy to limit out
I'd put TN land management for hunters atop anywhere in the SE. It's fantastic.
