it sure would be nice if our game with them mattered to any degree and to anyone outside of the state of South Carolina. I love it when we put a beat down on them. I love it when other teams put a beat down on them, like the Gators did Sat'dee. I love seeing them getting their hopes crushed after getting them up from beating a mediocre SEC team that was preseason ranked for no apparent reason.
But I'd also like to see our game matter to the rest of the country. I'd love to see the media, like Gameday even, get into the really rich history of the rivalry, which, up until the stupid 2020 COVID season, was one of the longest continually running rivalries in the nation. I'd love to see it on national TV and getting huge ratings. But... they're the coots. They pretty much always suck. Rarely, if ever, does the national sports media care about them, and rarely, if ever, do the coots give them any reason to care.
So, noon game it is, on a regional broadcast. Go Tigers!

Disagree. I'd rather them suck and NEVER beat us again (especially in my lifetime). I can't stand their program or fans!

Look, we have dominated the history of the series and until South Carolina starts having good teams year after year, it will never be a game that anyone cares about. Because they are SEC bottom feeders, they have a long, long road ahead, but as we have seen over and over every year, upsets happen each week. Dabo will have our guys ready.

South Carolina won proxy national championships in 2021, 2020, 2019, 2017, 2015, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, and more. How DARE you question that legacy!!!
