I think it is a bit of a false dichotomy to then bash Ship. I hope they can find a good balance moving forward. Mafah has earned more touches and with depth issues at WR it seems like an opportunity for Ship to get more of an APB role with some slot like routes in the mix.

I remember hearing commentators also saying how they like that two back look especially in the red zone. Just doesn’t seem we have ran it as much as I hoped we would.

I agree. Mafah doing well is great. Ship can play, though. Just need the right balance. Get the right packages and play calls together to utilize both guys.

I like Mafah, Mafah and more fkn Mafah. Shipley can come in when he gets tired some. The best players need to be playing!

Mafah has been runing better than Shipley all season. Just look at yards per carry before this game. Shipley is a better recieving back perhaps.

But you are correct. We need t use them both extensively. I think Marfa demonstrated today that we just need to flip-flop who's the primary back.

I think Mafah has earned it. He should be RB1 for the GT game.
