This was done so Obamas loyal spies could feedback intel to him. His primary concern was and still is, protecting the Muslim brotherhood and other elements he infested the govt with. Flynn got too close to the secret Iran deal and was preparing to go public with his findings. Obamas people smeared Flynn to shut it down. A lot of people are naive about who Obama really is.
