When we play North Carolina or Duke in Basketball when it comes to them they figure out a way to say yes and when it comes to Clemson they figure out a way to say No.
• After Hall made 3 three pointers in the first half he came out and drained one a minute into the second half—Refs said “Nope-3rd foul for you PJ, go sit on the bench for the rest of the 2nd half”
• end of the first half 3 strait foul calls (in one possession!) against UNC to even up the foul count-all non free throw shooting fouls for Clemson.
• With about 2 and 1/2 minutes left in the game the out of bounds call that went Tarholes way that clearly went off Carolina player-figure out a way to say yes to UNC they go tie it up!
• the Jump ball they should’ve called on Girard that was a foul instead.
• The out of bounds call that was made right in front of the ref who somehow missed the karate chop by the Tarhole player.
• The Clemson Post players called for fouls with their arms straight up. The Tarholes beat the crap out of our players driving to the basket and their point guards climb on their backs. When we finally get that call they have to check and see how many fouls before they figure out who to call it on.
• Bacot flying elbows everywhere. If Hall or Shefflein tried that they’d get a Flagrant.

I thought it was one of the best jobs by the refs at UNC or Duke ever. And I have been watching ACC basketball since the 60’s.

I don't disagree. It seemed that 2 of the 3 officials were okay. That 3rd official appeared to pale in comparison, if you know what I mean.

It was possibly the most balanced CU vs UNC or Duke I have ever seen. There will always be bad calls and missed calls, I just want non-biased calls and consistency in the calls. Do not allow officiating to decide the outcome of a game.

They made some horrible calls/no calls that went against us

but to their credit, they actually called some fouls on UNC in the last few minutes of the game as well.
They were the correct calls, but I was still surprised that they made them.

But we prevailed despite all that. That battle was a glorious victory, but the War is yet to won. Key now is consistency, much like swinging a golf club.

Duke game was the hosing. Preferential calls were obvious. Duke staying in the top 10 was money for ESPN.

The real question is has his shooting issue been fixed or is this just him randomly hitting a few.
I hope it's fixed but based on the previous ACC conference games I doubt it.

in November and December, as opposed to the 20% he shot since the new year leading up to last night's game.
It was great to see some threes fall for him!
If he can keep that up, we will be really hard to beat.

I know it had absolutely no bearing on the outcome of the game, but did anyone else notice that on the final throw in by UNC, after PJ hit the free throws to put us up by 7, that the referee decided it wasn’t worth the time and effort to call the UNC player for stepping over the end line.
