I have found the "conventional wisdom" that 2 SEC teams would make the playoff a little strange. It probably won't happen. Just for reference a 1 loss non conference Champ has never gotten in over a 1 loss conference Champ. I would be shocked if the PAC 12 or B12 don't have a 1 loss champ. Just thought I would put it out there. The media doesn't decide the field -- the committee does, and the committee values conference champs.
