but Pitt’s stadium is rocking tonight. Lots of fans, and they are loud.
Pitt has made a nice comeback. Just had a pick 6 and are up 7 on West Virginia late.

Go Pitt. Love the atmosphere. It's what rivalries should be. Great exposure for ACC. So glad to see it. Some on here says it doesn't matter, but it does matter what your conference does.

You apparently haven't had a bad encounter with a fan while minding your own business. As for Pitt, they think they are world beaters, plus this is a big game that has returned to their schedule after years of not being played.

rivalries being eliminated, the WVU/Pitt games being one of them.
I have maintained for years that an invitation to Pitt by the ACC should have included the same for WVU, the failure of which smacked of effete elitism. That the Mountaineers had to join the Big 12 to remain in a P5 was a travesty initiated by the ACC, as far as I'm concerned.
I hold these opinions after 57 years of experience with the ACC and the control exerted by Greensboro and the N.C. schools.
It was great to see them revel in that olden rivalry again, one that both fanbases enjoyed.

the jewel in the crown of the ACC is gonna play a conference game in a purposely deflated environment that more closely resembles an FCS crowd than an elite FBS one.
I still can’t believe this is happening to us on Monday.
