I'm the first to pine on Brownell after an unexplainable loss, but....

seeing posts on here this morning that nitpicks the team/coach after a nice win is...odd. Going on a 24-3 run to end the game is amazing. Even without some of our better players having great games.
Kudos to Brownell and the team. He might not be my preference as a coach, but never will I whine and complain about him after a great win.
Some of y'all might also prefer a different coach, but when your allegiance to "Hating Brownell" overrides your fandom for Clemson athletics, you need to wipe the fog from the mirror and re-prioritize yourself.
Here's to hoping we keep the run going and enjoy a fun ride all the way into late March, in the NCAA tourney.

Glad for the win. Not a complaint but the last few minutes of each half were total opposites. Fined the game great. Finshed first half looking awful. Glad it was turned around. f

Yep, ditto. I posted at halftime that the last 10 minutes of the first half were embarrassing and we needed adjustments. Thankfully they were made and we played a completely different style of bball in the second half.
There are still too many possessions of one-pass-shoot-a-three. That will only ever make sense if the shooter is Girard and he’s not forcing it.

Hey I have seen the movie multiple times but the plot has twisted in comparison to years past. 3 fantastic wins and I’m very proud of the team. I don’t expect to win every game but would rather see a well coached team not beat themselves, and of late we are finding ways to win instead of losing these 5 or less point games.

Against top ACC teams we often going to have close games. The make or break is always if we can get most of them to fall our way. We aren't going to have the hoops recruiting advantage like we have in football. Brad has to make the pieces and parts work and change it up to keep other tams off balance

Actually, the movie is different each year but for some reason folks think it is the same movie. Every year the cast is different, and the outcomes are also different. For example, last year we finished very high in the conference standings but were not consistent OOC especially against Q4 teams.

Yes, the failures are consistent but the method of failure keeps changing.
That's what makes Brownell exciting...

This team is different from Brad's teams of the past. Previous teams would have lost these last 3 games once the other team made a comeback run.
There is no way he's fired this year but I do hope we don't over react and extend the contract. Let's see if we can finish the regular season like we should and if he can do the same thing next year before we give him another 14 years.

Brownell’s team constantly fail to get a 2-for-1 when the opportunity presents itself at the end of the first half.

The team certainly looks renewed and improved recently

And I hope this is a trend that now continues all the way through the end of the season… And into the next several years.
But many of us are rightly skeptical that there will be the inevitable, postseason, collapse, or embarrassment, or that we will have a decent postseason run, and then the next three years will be back to absolute mediocrity.
The evidence Would indicate that to be very likely

What evidence? Last years NIT game where our players felt slighted over the snub and MS thought it was their super bowl? Has zero to do with this year.

13 years of BrownLLL ball is the evidence that we cannot string two decent seasons together

The players should not have felt snubbed. They should have felt responsible and embarrassed for the 4 awful losses. We did not belong in the NCAAT which was stated here by everyone that understands data and analytics.
