State had an off night tbh and we couldn't take advantage. Sloppy passing, no movement, not a good job switching off and we continue to play poorly blocking out rebounding. Or simply holding onto the ball once we do get the rebounding. Amari, bless her heart, tries too hard to do everything. It seems like our whole offensive strategy is just get Amari the balll and lean on her.

It's hard to watch. I'm not sure if it's coaching or not. Obviously the coaches can't shoot or rebound but too many times we act like we have no clue what play to run. But then we'll have a stretch of excellent play and communication. Baffling.

She has to recruit a more talented player to change this narrative.If not find a coach that can recruit and put a great staff together.Womens basketball is at another level now.

IMO the most important aspect of college coaching, recruiting is the #1 priority

Where X's and O's count more is the professional ranks where everyone is comparable.

I'd say its probably 75% to 25% ratio in terms of importance. Recruiting well fills in the gaps of what you're limited in x's an o's. You can alway recruit knowledgeable coaches too when you have the talent to be successful. Its why Bama always had big name coaches on their staff.

No one cares about woman's basketball. We haven't been good since itoro umoh was our starting point guard back in the late 90s. That's the last time I took our woman's basketball program serious.
