who each have a role to make the team competitive, is about "we" not "I."

Pro-football opportunities that are miniscule for most who play college football skewed the "we" to "I."

College football was a proud stand alone product for young men to play a game they loved during their college years. Now, college football is under the financial tyranny of pro-football which whispers to many but only picks a few to join it's ranks.

Opting out of season bowl games is the erosion of college football just like name, likeness, and image and the transfer portal. Money has replaced the love of the game and the fellowship of the team. Just my rambling two cents on this.

turning off a lot of its longest patrons. See, the thing is ESPN, CBS, FOX, and others can continue to put a package and bow on it that says "COLLEGE". But we're not idiots. It's becoming NFL on Saturdays right before our eyes. The jerseys may just as well say City of Tuscaloosa or Austin City.

Next step is opting out of seasons. I got ridiculed for saying redshirt are history and you're lucky to get 3 years. It's not a far leap to become like bball and college baseball. People pushing for farm systems now. Won't take many more jumbo, Riley, and prime time coaches that will turn it into that. Sad, really sad.
