Would he publicly make some sappy speech about loving God, teammates, school, fans, etc.?

Or wouldn’t he just shut up and GTFO?

Yeah it is cliche now. I quit, but I still want everyone to love me. It does no good to the team they are leaving and I guess that’s the point.
Imagine if, under our current rush to judgement, Collins just said, I think I’ve learned all I can from this guy, so I’m leaving. OR, nothing against Clemson, but I got this bomb NIL deal that I’m not passing up. As is, the idiot fans are left to their imagination, which is always on the panic side of things.
The disingenuous nature of today’s athletes and fans is for people that love chaos and nuance.
It’s hard to accept, but here we are…
